Privacy Policy for BurstDrop

BurstDrop is built to respect your privacy completely. This policy explains what the app does — and, more importantly, what it does not do — with your data.

The short version

BurstDrop does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your device.

Photo library access

BurstDrop asks for access to your photo library for one reason: to find the burst photos you’ve captured and to read the individual frames inside them so it can export and share them.

• Photo access is used only while you are using the app, to display your bursts and to prepare the frames you choose to share.
• BurstDrop never uploads your photos or their frames anywhere. There are no servers involved.
• When you share frames, the app writes the original image files to a temporary folder on your device and hands them to Apple’s standard share sheet (for example, AirDrop). From there, you decide where they go. BurstDrop itself does not send them anywhere.
• Temporary exported files are removed automatically by the app over time.

You can review or change BurstDrop’s photo access at any time in Settings → Apps → BurstDrop → Photos. BurstDrop needs Full Access to reach every frame of a burst; with limited access it can only see the single photo iOS surfaces.

Data we do not collect

BurstDrop has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no accounts, and no third-party SDKs. Specifically, the app does not collect:

• Personal information
• Photos or metadata
• Usage or diagnostics data
• Location
• Identifiers of any kind

Children’s privacy

BurstDrop does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new “Last updated” date.
